The CGE Association MembershipThe College Greens East (CGE) homeowner’s association consists of 400 single-family homes as well as the 64 townhomes along Rio Bravo Circle. The 64 CGE townhome owners also have their own townhome association separate from the larger, 464 residence CGE association that they are also members of. So the townhome neighbors are members of and pay assessments to two levels of homeowner associations.
Benefits of CGE Association Membership
Members of the association may share the Crawford’s Barn/Park area (common area). Membership is also is designed to protect, preserve, and enhance neighborhood property values and reduce nuisances. The CGE reasonable restrictions as outlined in the governing documents assist to preserve the net value of the community and maintain a higher quality of life for residents.
By purchasing a home/townhome in the CGE association, the owner/member must abide by the association’s pre-established guidelines as outlined in the governing documents including the CC&Rs, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations. The CC&Rs and Rules and Regulations establish protective standards, restrictions, and obligations in areas ranging from architectural control to prohibitions on various activities in order to promote harmonious living and protect property values. The Bylaws are the adopted governing regulations for the administration and management of association and outline the voting rights of members, procedures for electing the board of directors, procedures for the board of directors to elect officers, outline the general powers and duties of the board, etc. |
