Assessments and Payments

Timing of Annual Assessment notice is controlled by California Civil Code Section 5615: “The association shall provide individual notice pursuant to Section 4040 to the members of any increase in the regular or special assessments of the association, not less than 30 nor more than 60 days prior to the increased assessment becoming due.” The Association’s goal is to provide as much notice as possible by sending Assessment Notices on November 2nd (or the first business day thereafter) each year. If you have not received an invoice for the next year’s Annual Assessment by mid November, you should contact the Association Treasurer right away.

The current assessment amount and any past due balance or credits will appear on your statement, please pay only the amount due. A return envelope and remittance slip to help ensure your payment is correctly addressed and processed.

Questions about your account

For your balance, payment history, or anything else about your account, email treasurer@cgehoa.org.

If you’re behind

If you’re having difficulty paying an assessment, contact the treasurer before the account becomes delinquent. The Association would rather work out a plan than pursue collection.

Note that under the CC&Rs, the right to use Crawford’s Barn is suspended for any period during which an assessment against your property remains unpaid.

Barn Rental Payments

Barn rental fees and deposits are also paid only by check. See the Crawford’s Barn page.
